🌿 Restorative Flow with Paula

A Gently Grounding Practice to Ease You Into Stillness

Begin with slow, mindful movement to gently awaken your body and settle your mind. Then transition into deeply supported restorative poses designed to help you relax, release tension, and return to yourself.

Taught by Paula—who loves sharing the importance of feeling grounded, the value of deep relaxation, and how rest nourishes the whole body—this class offers a nurturing space to soften and reconnect. With full props and a cozy studio setting, you’ll be guided through a flowing warm-up before sinking into restorative poses using bolsters, blankets, and blocks for total comfort.

Hello I’m Paula. My first yoga class was at the Wyckoff YMCA in 2003. Immediately I felt a happy mind and body connection and every week I looked forward to bringing both my daughters to the tot drop while I would take class. Through time I became a regular practicing yogi. Although hatha yoga was my first class I was introduced to, I gradually learned to like hot yoga, vinyasa and Bikram as well. Practicing vinyasa and love for restorative yoga allows me to feel grounded and I value the importance to appreciate what relaxation and rest means for the body. I think that creating your own space on the mat allows you to slow down each day and navigate the goodness of what yoga provides through self love and awareness. In 2023 I received my Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher training at Flow Yoga In Hohokus, NJ. After completing I became a karma yogi, taught community classes and volunteered at the studio where I got to know the set up of classes, workshops and students of the community. In June 2023, I started working as a chair yoga teacher at The Bristal Assisted Living in Waldwick. It really humbles me to help assist the seniors with their strength and mobility and seeing their smiles each time always inspires me. I have been a NJ licensed esthetician since 2007. Through my experience I have learned how the connection between facial, shoulder, arm, and hand muscles aligns with the principles of yoga. With my joy for yoga, I look forward to broadening my skills as I am so passionate about sharing the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga with others and willingness to continue learning and growing as a yoga teacher.
